In accordance with : French Civil code, article 1590 Deposits paid for holiday lets are non-reimbursable. “Deposit : A sum of money paid by a customer as security, (in this case to secure the reservation of a holiday let). If the buyer decides to cancel the reservation he/she will lose the deposit. In the case of the seller not respecting his/her side of the contract, the buyer is entitled to a full reimbursement of the deposit plus damages equaling the amount of the deposit”. However, from a customer relations point of
view, and if we are able to re-let for the totality
of the period stipulated on the reservation, we will do our best to
reimburse the deposit.
